ABOUT ME
I graduated in Psychology from the University of Exeter with First Class Honours in Psychology in 1976. After spending three years with the UK Ministry of Defence (working on pilot selection for the RAF) I returned to Exeter to study for my PhD under Paul Kline. I stayed at Exeter as a research fellow until taking up a lectureship at the Universsity of Ulster, Coleraine in 1986. I moved to Queen's University, Belfast in 1992 and stayed there until 2012 when I emigrated to Canada. I now continue to write books, help edit the journal Personality & Individual Differences, review papers for journals and research bodies and undertake consultancy and PhD examining.
